Rubbish
Stung Meanchey Municipal Waste Dump is a 100 acre garbage dump in Phnom Penh.
Every day these families scavenge through the rubbish to contribute to the family income by selling what they can to recycling businesses. Adults earn an average of 5000 riels (US$1.25) a day. These people are considered the lucky ones as they earn more money here than in their villages.
